Here is a Hot Box I am using to cure the paint on my engine case and other painted parts. I am using the Randolph Lycoming Gray paint that needs a 200 degree F cure for an hour for optimal hardness.
I'm using my son's old steamer trunk he used for camp. I have a 250W infrared bulb in an articulating lamp.
Shutting the lid and covering this up with a blanket allows the parts to get up to temperature within 1 to 2 hours depending on the size of the parts.
The Harbor Freight non-contact thermometer works great for checking temps.
A nice exhaust fan in the basement takes away any of the fumes so the wife doesn't complain (too much).
