    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

uploads/20100108_063614_Pitts_rib.jpgAnother question for the group. My Pitts S1S has wings that were built from a Pete Grove kit. They are ply leading edge, extended 3 hinge symmetrical ailerons with spades, and rounded tips. I'll attach a picture of a rib. They are built from 1/16 mahogany ply capped and trussed with spruce (not sparcraft)

Just wondering if anyone else has these wings and how they perform. They sure do look nice.
