I'm currently writing a series of articles on homebuilt accident statistics. In the next installment, I'd like to include a photo of a *certified* Pitts Special. Don't care which model, just want a photo showing a standard-category Pitts.
I could get a photo from Aviat, but thought folks might get a kick out of seeing their airplane in Kitplanes magazine. I can't pay anything, but you'll receive a credit for the photo.
It'd be nice if the photo was air-to-air, but a good ground shot is almost as good. Do need decent resolution...300 dpi at an 8x10 size.
Contact me at ron (at) wanttaja.com if you've got a shot that might work.
What do I need it for? Some excuse poor handing characteristics in homebuilt aircraft by claiming it's a byproduct of giving the airplane sporty handling. I think the fact that the Pitts is certified shows that isn't necessary.
