So my Pitts has a broken trim push rod. That rod is made from .065 (a tad less that 1/16) piano wire which is housed in such a way so that it doesn't pinch or bind during actuation. The builder of the system has told me that suitable wire can be found from various suppliers of truck, lawn mower or marine parts. But I can't find it. I need about 9' length. Does anyone have a similar method of trim actuation? And if so, any ideas where I can find a replacement?
