The Biplane Forum is a private community. Subscriptions are only $49.99/year or $6.99/month to gain access to this great community and unmatched source of information not found anywhere else on the web.

    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Hello My name is Rod and I am a pilot out of KPLU. I flew back in high school and quit after college. Twenty years latter, I got back into flying. and then ...... I started a flight training company based around the Redbird and then........I saw a huge need for customer service in this industry. I purchases the building and the assets of Spencer Aircraft, revamped the showroom, brought in additional stock, hired on additional staff, with the whole goal of providing superior customer service. Spencer Aircraft is a aircraft hardware and pilot supply shop. (See Video Below)

That being said if you ever have an experience less than your expectation, I want to personally know about it, so please PM me directly. I really hope you all enjoy what I have done, as it could not happen without all of you. In addition, please let others know about us, as we try to grow and start attending some of the national events.

Please let me know what you think of our website. Especially check out the Polyfiber kits, as I think you will be excited with how we packaged the kits.

Here is a video of our showroom, a happy customer that just loved our place decided to make. It gives a good overview of some of the products we carry.
