Hey guys, whatpowerplant areyou folks running with in the S-1? Are you happy with it? We all want more horsepower but what have you found out or discovered that you like for horsepower and climb with a fixed pitch prop? Seems like a lot of people I have talked to over the years have 150 hp and are happy but I'm not sure what the climb is. I would imagine the climb rate changes with what type of wing was built.

I also read that, like all airplanes, keep it light.

As I'm gathering my things to start my build I need to keep watch for the ideal engine and if it comes up I want to be ready to grab it. I have a long road ahead of me but I would like to buy an engine if the opportunity comes up.

Thanks!

Mike
