Here's a question for everyone.


If someone has an early Pitts with the originalgross weightof 1050lbs and then puts Sparcraft (essentially making it an S1S) or Wolf or Raven wings on it what would be the thoughts regarding the uping of the gross would it be acceptable to continue with 1150lbs.


What was the accepted difference to increase the gross weight in the first place? Was it a wing strength issue or a fuselage (wing attach) thing?


Appreciate thoughts as an extra 100lbs would be quite useful.Edited by: DragonflyDH90
