Another disassembly, another thing I find that is not to plans.
My upper aileron assembly actuating arms are not built to 1/4 inch steel specs and they are drilled with a bushing as oppose to a hole large enough to accommodate the KP3 bearings. Also my lower arms are not built to plans either. Made out of thin steel as oppose 1/4 inch. Pictures attached.
Called Aviat out of curisooty and they are $200 + per arm! I could fabricate them myself (after screwing it up a few times) but Iβm almost tempted just to leave them as is.
Thoughts?
