Pitts S1C Rib Lacing

Hi, I'm wondering if there is an authoritative instruction regarding the correct pitch for rib lacing on a Pitts S1C wing (Experimental)? I can't find anything specific in the plans about fabric covering. A number I have looked at seem to settle on 1 in spacing. Randolph and Polyfiber manuals both contain a table based on VNE, but state closer for aerobatic aircraft.

Is there such a thing as a build manual or more detailed instructions available to supplement the plans?
