hello,

I’m new to the forum and to Pitts aircraft. I currently owns Pitts S1S project and while trying to make the plane airworthy again I noticed it wasn’t built with an elevator trim tab. I looked on line and noticed some have a trip and some don’t. I’m curious if anyone has flown one without and can tell me the the reason not it install one?

I’m also curious if someone have a copy of their S1S weight and balance numbers.... I need to redo mine and I would like a starting point.

I’ll have more questions, but wanted to start with these.

Thanks!

Ed
