    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Hello all,

We have a new member of our UK based Pitts S2A group, and she is a diminutive 110lbs! A quick weight and balance check shows that she needs up to 40 lbs of ballast to be able to fly solo inside the forward c of g limit.

Has anyone had experience of this problem, I'd be interested to hear how it was solved.

An offer of multiple group funded visits to the Golden Arches was politely declined!

Many thanks
