Hi Guys. My Pitts S1S project is on the gear and the tail and the engine and controls are mounted. I'm now working on all the electrical hookups. Plans are to run the engine as soon as possible before I mount the wings and button her up. Several homebuilders at our local field are skeptical about my used Bendix mags and have been encouraging me to get Slicks.
I also have to decide on what I'm going to do about a transponder. Can anyone recommend a small (thin)transponder for the Pitts? I plan to mount it next to the fuse side in the area to my lower right. Any comments on encoder requirements is also appreciated.

Thanks!

Dave Scott
