I am recovering a lower wing of my amateur built Pitts S-1S, using Ceconite 102 fabric and the Ceconite process. I want to finish it to look like the rest of the plane, which is finished in red PPG polyurethane. I had planned on buying PPG Delta DGHS locally (Kansas City) to get a good color match on the red. However, the local paint suppliers that I have checked no longer stock it, because of lack of demand.

Questions for the forum:
1) What is a good alternative to PPG Delta DGHS that I could probably get mixed locally? Would I need to request the addition of a flex agent in the mix?
2) I am following the Ceconite Procedure Manual 101, and just finished rib stitching. Am I correct in thinking I should continue the Ceconite process up through butyrate silver, before spraying the polyurethane?
3) Would there be value in spraying a coat of butyrate white over the butyrate silver, prior to spraying the red polyurethane?
