    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

Hello everyone I was wondering if folks could help me with a few prop questions.
1. What are you using as a RPM redline while flying?I have a S-1 with a 200 HP Lycoming, the Lycoming engine manual I have says 2700. At sea level 2700 RPM I get 140 MPH but I'm only at about 1/2 throttle it feels like I am flying around in first gear.
2. What type of prop (brand/pitch) is on your plane. I have a Sensenich 76EM8-0-60
