    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

OK, a question:

I buy and sell a little to support my gasoline addiction. Came across a prop. The fellow sent me phone photos so really can't tell. Claims it is in really nice shape. He knows a little about it as his dad once owned an fbo. I plan on looking at is Sunday. No log books. What does it take to get a log book. I would assume a trip to the prop shop. Which would take all the profit out of it probably. Off a newer 172 with a lycoming. He claimed it has no numbers on it. Will see.
