Pros and cons of putting the intercom in the front pit

Hi all,

Just trying to make some room in the rear panel and was considering putting the intercom in the front panel. I'll be by myself better than 95% of the time so I doubt I'll miss it and it's easy enough to brief a passenger about volume and squelch but figured maybe I'm overlooking something.
