So, I am hooking up the throttle cable to the throttle linkage on the carb. With throttle disconnected the first half of throttle arm movement there is no friction force at all, the butterfly moves just fine, no resistance whatsoever. Movement past the halfway to full open results in a feeling like its working against spring pressure. If I release the throttle arm it springs back to mid-position.
When the throttle cable is connected, no resistance to halfway, then a forcefull resistance to full open, if I release throttle it springs back to half position...
What the heck is going on here? I have no experience with a PS-5C. it can't be normal. I'm about ready to unload my .45 on it!
