I think im sold on the skybolt........I have not been in one yet but I would like to make it down to orlando to take a ride in one. We bought a pitts s2b about 3months ago and the guy sold it out from under us while the funds were getting ready to be wired out..........no big deal.......things happen for a reason......from things i have read the pitts would have probably been too much airplane for what we need.....the question I have is.......will the skybolt be competitive in the intermediate class and how is the forward visability on landing? Also would you say the skybolt is comparable to an eagle or a pitts........I would like to drop in a io540 if the wife will spring for the $ or the 360 if not.........wich brings up another question...........is the 540 overkill for intermediate aerobatic compatition in the skybolt?
