Hello,
I've been watching with interest your discussion regarding the Skybolt vs. the Pitts Model 12. As a new pilot (finally got my private ticket 3 years ago), I've always wanted to build an airplane in my garage. I keep vacillating between going the standard RV series route and pounding rivets, or chasing the allure of a biplane (old school, gotta love it!). I would like to build the R version of the Skybolt if I go that route.
I definitely want to go the round engine route, I'm thinking Skybolt with a Jacobs engine. Any thoughts or feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jeff
