    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

i acid etched with Scotchbrite and self etched primed and epoxy primed about 16 pcs of fairings hanging in the booth. Too close to get at everything and as put on the last coat of Ranthane Colorado red (did i say how nice it sprays and covers?) i hit one of the long pcs and it landed red side down.
The booth was vacuumed and only messed up about 6" at one end.
Questions?
Can i sand 6" of red out and recoat the whole piece after 12hrs?
