In another thread I was asking about flop tube failures (it seems they are very unlikely to fail, if maintained). Someone suggested adapting the bottom tank sump outlet to act as a second fuel source by tee-ing from it, which would create the need for a 3 way fuel valve. A tech counsellor dropped by today for a couple of minutes ('just gassing up), he raised the question: adding another element into a basic simple system means more management at times of stress, like an engine out - when there's enough going on already, not to mention more 'links in the chain' (plumbing joints, 3 way valve).
I decided to create a poll to get general feedback.
I am probably over-thinking this. I know.
