    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

I just received a letter from National Aviation Center, informing me that my a/c registration will expire soon, and that I can go online and renew it with them. I went to their website (www.nationalaviationcenter.us), to check it out, to see if it's legitimate.

Here's the deal: They charge a $65 fee to renew the registration. The FAA, on my previous renewal three years ago, charged $5. I didn't take the bait. I'll wait for the notice from the FAA.
