Is 1/4 inch reinforcing tape used exclusively on the 1/4 ribs...or does anyone alternate 1/4 inch and 3/8 inch tapes where the rib width varies (on the same rib)? It seems like matching the tape would be better from a fabric tearing perspective, but cosmetically maybe not worth it. I tried to carefully lay out a rib and it took five pieces of alternating 1/4 in. and 3/8 in. on one rib. Any thoughts?
