While sitting in the airplane going through the motions of maneuvers I noticed a bad creaking / stretching noice from the right rudder cable. Enough to get my attention and cancel the flight. After lubing the connections it got better but was still audible. Attached is a video after lubing. Left side has no noise. I am assuming that is is time to replace both cables (about 25 years old.)

Parts list based off the set of plans I have
~26ft 1/8” galv 7x19 cable
4 1/8” zinc plated nicopress
4 AN100-4 thimbles

Any input / advise is appreciated
