Id like to ask your opinions, on my new to me Pitts, one of the previous owners drilled new holes on the rudder horns more inboard (I'm assuming to tame it down on the ground). I would like to move the springs back out to the stock position, but Im worried that now there are the extra holes that the integrity will be affected by moving them back to the normal position. Im wondering if just keeping a set of bolts and washers in the inboard holes will help it out a bit. Also the springs have constant tension on them I think I need to create some slack in the chains. Its near impossible to break the tailwheel free.

Thoughts?
