A happy new year, everyone! It's a good time to start dreaming.

Looking way ahead to buy my own Pitts in coming years the thought always goes into the choice of single vs dual seat. In hindsight, how would you describe your reasoning and thinking about this?

Do more single or dual seat owners regret they did not get the other one and why?

Those who have S-2, how much do you actually use the front seat? Is it worth having it? It definitely sounds tempting to have the front hole to sometimes take others flying or for training, or non-aerobatic flights, but in reality how often that happens? What to keep in mind when making the decision?

Money being tight, would it be right to assume if looking in the price range if under $60-70k, a comparable S-1 can be had for $10-20k less, or how is the price difference? Most probably looking at that price range and experimental, not factory-built.

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
