    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

To put my mind at ease I'd like to run this one past the experts...:) According to my plans the S-1C lower wing forward attach bolt is located 1/2 inch above the bottom of the spar. The aft attatch bolt is located 1.0 inch above the bottom of the spar. My S-1S plans have both holes located 1/2 inch above the bottom of the spar. Granted we're talking different airfoils here but this seems to but a nice chunk positive incidence into the lower wing. Unfortunately, I don't trust my plans 100% these days.

I'm in need of some confirmation before I drill.

Thanks and regards,

kip
