Getting into tail slides/torque rolls now and wanted to make sure my plane has appropriate control stops. I read the other threads on control stops and didn't quite find what I'm looking for.

Basically, I just want to know what the S-1S plans call for in the way of stops. My plane is home built and I've had a couple different people tell me different things at my local airport.

My control stick has screw stops at the base of it for both up/down, left/right movement.

My rudder has stops built into the tail of the airframe (metal posts welded to airframe that protrude on each side). Nothing near the pedal assemblies.

I'm told by a mechanic that my elevator has no stops back at the control surface and that he thought there should be.

As for ailerons, don't think I have anything except the screws at base of control stick.

Thanks,
Ryan
