Not a building question, but I think there's a pretty low-time S-1S that might be available.

Fuselage - Long, bought from an estate sale. Gas welded, reported to be of good quality. Painted with aerothane. Does not have additional horizontal stab support tube.
Wings - Sparcraft wings that came from an unfinished aircraft or previous flying aircraft with fresh cover with poly-tone. Wings have blocks for beefed up ribs and reportedly look good.
Engine - IO-320 that was pulled off of a tripacer and converted to IO. No historical logs, just new one that states 465 engine hours at install. Sump has been off recently to add Raven inverted oil, cam inspected by borescope. Wobble pump
Prop - Sensenich cut down by prop. Seller wasn't sure of pitch and couldn't recall static RPM. 2500RPM cruise reported as 135-140.
Gear - Grove main w/ grove wheels and brakes. Leaf spring and API tailwheel.
Electrical - Has Lightweight Starter and belt-driven alternator, Oddesy battery installed aft, Becker radio.

Empty wt is 804#. Airplane looks decent. Not a head-turner and not a red devils paint scheme. Owner is an A&P/IA who'll sell it with a fresh condition inspection. Having never owned, flown or purchased a Pitts but having read through some of the advice on this forum and Davisson's website, I'm looking for some input on what it might be worth and what other questions I need to be asking.

Thanks,
Marty
