Just curious if anyone has experience flying the S-1T (symmetrical ailerons) without spades, and how the feel compares to S-1S (Frise) ailerons without spades. I've now flown a factory S-1T, and an experimental S-1 with T ailerons, both with spades. The aileron feel was very similar to how my S-1S felt when it had spades...and the reason why I immediately pulled the spades off. Just curious if the symmetrical ailerons are any heavier or feel differently from the Frise ailerons without spades. I cannot recall ever seeing an S-1T without spades. I was impressed with the additional roll rate of the T ailerons. Eric
