I searched previous forums for the answer to a question I have but did not see anything so if I missed it I apologize. Going by Aircraft Spruce application chart
I ordered 4ea 1380 shock chords for my Pitts S1-C but when I received them they looked way to big, infact, I can't get them between the fuselage tubing and the the flat metal that retains them once installed.
I started researching it and 1380's are rated to 1160 pounds ea.
Do I have the correct units or do I need something like 1280's?
