    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

My sitting height makes the S1S (factory) canopy very tight to sit under.
It's a juggle between seat pack chutes that put my head in the canopy or backpack chutes that put my long legs even further forward.
--I'm using a Clarity Aloft.
I recently sat in a experimental S1S in which the canopy was noticeably more bulged up; the owner referred to it as an "Extended Bubble" canopy.
This afforded me perhaps as much as 3" more headroom than my factory S1S.
Does anybody know where I can find a canopy like this?
--Being certified for use on a factory S1 is not a requirement.
Thanks.
