    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Has anyone flown either of these wings?
Where do they differ from stock or each other?
Is one more suited to competition than the other?
Other general observations/opinions/history on the design and kits of these two?

Just bought an S1S and it is in need of recover on the wings after this season and I was thinking of building new wings instead of recovering the current ones. This is a competition/practice machine and a known quantity in the wood would be a nice "warm fuzzy". Plus, as is it still airworthy and safe, it could be flown while the new kit was built and I could still get my "Fix".

Thanks

Brian
