    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

What have any of you guys done as a safety latch to keep your s1 canopies from opening unwanted in flight?
I just got my new to me s1s on Friday and the latches like to occasionally vibrate loose on either side. My very first solo Pitts landing the canopy popped open in the pattern. Not a huge deal but was an unwelcome distraction while concentrating on finding my proper approach.

loving this plane and looking forward to tapping into the wisdom in this group.
