    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).

I am in the process of rebuilding my S1S, The top wing is in bad shape and it will probably be easier to build a new wing than to try to repair the old one.My problem is that enlarging the plans to make a rib jig does not seem to be accurate, and the plans only give the dimensions for the top camber(Aviat Plans)Is there an electronic copy of the rib profile out there to print to full size?My plan B would be to build a S1SS top wing from Steen, would a S1SS top wing work with stock S1S lower wings?I have already spent $$$$ rebuilding the lower wings and would hate to make them wall hangers.ThanksBen
