Just a note: we had a recent thread on a replacement for the Dorman cable in the plans. I'm not sure exactly what mine is, could be plans item, but it's a typical vernier w/push button engine control. It ends under the throttle quadrant.

Mine was missing the ball lock so I was skeptical about how it would work and it also seems backwards as control out/forward results in up trim.

Well a new ball arrived today and using the vernier seems to work rather well. May take practice to know which way to turn but it works well and with good fit B-nut on tab end there is little slop. Works well enough to use or at least give it a try rather than installing a lever.

Another item checked off my to do list. List is getting very short.....:)

FWIW
