    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Just got this months issue of Sport Aviation . The article featuring Steve Wolf's Samson Mite blew me away with Physical and Performance stats. This little plane is comparable in size to an S1S , has a 9 cylinder radial engine and weigh's in at 708 lbs. , and stalls at 47 mph . I think that Larry's Mrs. Smith was said to weigh in at 717 . WOW . Steve can really make things happen . Very impressive as always . Thank you Steve . If I'm not mistaken , I believe that's Light Sport compatible .
