Hi everyone.
First off, thanks to you all for taking the time to share you knowledge here on the forum. I've only been a member for a few weeks but have already learned loads of great stuff.
My dad and I just bought a Starduster Too (the one from Reno, if you follow them).
Looking for an instructor in Northern Colorado, hopefully near Fort Collins / Loveland, to teach us how to fly it.
The plane is know to be a well behaved Starduster with light tail, long engine mount and good gear geometry.
My dad is a retired airline pilot who learned in tail wheels and I have ~350 hours, 20 in a Citabria. Most recently, we've been flying a Quicksilver II-S Sport. So we are not strangers to birds that require a unique approach (I suppose they all do but some more than others).
Aerobatic experience preferred but not required. We just want to be safe for the $100 hamburgers and weekend warrior type fun.
If anyone know's anyone around who might be willing, we would sure appreciate a recommendation.
