This aircraft is the demonstration aircraft for The Light Aircraft Co Ltd. It is the basic ST (microlight) version with a Rotax 582 power unit, other power units include Jabiru 2200, UL260i, BMW R100 motorcycle conversion, and the new D Motor. The Sherwood Ranger is also available as a Cat A aircraft Sherwood Ranger XP, fitted with any of the above power units and shortened wingspan.
2012 will see the launch of the XP Aero, a 2 seat Cat A aircraft with single seat aerobatic capabilities and the ST Ballistic, a microlight model with a MTOW of 472.5kgs with ballistic recovery system.
All Sherwood Rangers are available as either kit build or Fast Build.
