    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

Say "Hello" to N127A. Built from a factory kit in '74 as an S1D (or "C" depending one which log page you believe). It was rebuilt as an S1S with symmetrical wings in the '80s and rebuilt again in 2005 by Ray Williams. He installed new plywood covered wings of his own design with the slave struts plumbed inside the I-struts. She's now hangared in Blairstown, NJ and suffering through my initial ham-handed attempts at acro.
