I have my tank out and was going to replace the tubing but I am wondering if it is necessary. I have a fuel totalizer that is consistently within two tenths of a gallon. I can't see any level in the sight gauge until I am down to 8 gallons which I normally don't do. In addition to the totalizer, I time my fuel usage from when I fill it up. So, given the near uselessness of the sight gauge and having two other ways to keep track of the fuel, is it necessary? I am also concerned about the potential for a fuel leak, I realize the odds of that are small, but I balance that against almost no benefit from having it and I am leaning towards doing away with it. Any thoughts, opinions, concerns?
