To make a long story short, my Val 760 with external Val intercom module died the other day. I was very happy with this setup and the intercom worked perfect in my Hatz.

I am thinking of purchasing a portable intercom to use with the Icom A200 I just installed and was wondering if anyone has experience with the Sigtronics SPO-22N with how well it works in a high noise environment.

I tried a cheepie portable intercom yesterday but it was too noisy to hear the front passenger, even though I could communicate with ATC just fine.

I am also open to other ideas or intercom manufactures.

Thanks,
Scott
