My S1D has just under 60 hrs. and flies as hands off as is possible in a Pitts. On the last couple of flights I've developed a singing wire at about +4G. I can't visibly see any of the wires vibrating and I also haven't seen any slack in them up to about +5 1/2. Anybody have a good method to identify the offending wire, or anything else that might be causing the whine?
My slave struts don't have any string or rod on them, but I've never had a problem with them vibrating. I also have streamlined wires on the tail. The airplane was assembled by a very well respected shop and I'm confident the wires were set up correctly initially. Thanks for any ideas.
