I'm trying to find a replacement for what appears to be a single place intercom in my Pitts. It's a small black box that was mounted to the cabane strut behind the panel. Unfortunately, I don't have a closeup picture of the box.
It has wiring for two traditional headset jacks, wiring to the throttle mounted PTT switch, and a two prong connector to plug into my Icom handheld radio.
This is a really slick setup that came in the Pitts when I bought it and worked great up until now. The box has no sticker or part number.......it only says JAPAN. Is anyone familiar with this device or one like it? I'd rather not have to use the traditional remote PTT switch and headset adapter for my icom handheld with all that associated loose wiring in the cockpit.
