Hey folks, I'm looking for a recommendation for the size of a cable to secure my seatbelt shoulder harness. This is a retrofit so I'll have to secure the cable around the frame back where the front of the horizontal stabilizer is mounted as I won't be able to work behind the seat as there is a luggage compartment. Dave B found me a bolt on brace to raise the height of the shoulder harness guides just behind the seat and I figure 6" to 12" back I'd secure the harnesses to a cable fitting that pierced the back of the luggage compartment and then wrapped around the fuselage framing and then swaged at the vert stabilizer removable inspection panels.
3/16-1/4-5/16?
Should I have the one end for the attachments of the harness terminated with an eye or fork end or just a thimble and loop?
Cable type recommendation?
Whadday think?
Thanks...
