    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

I thought I'd start a separate thread on brakes.

IMO if you have enough brake to do a run-up you have enough.[/QUOTE

Quoting Jack above. No at a 1700 RPM static run, the aircraft moves.

Dave Baxter- Thanks Dave, I'll look at the geometry and determin if anything can be improved there.

I note you also have the same single piston caliper, albeit at the 3 o'clock position instead of the six like mine. Have you seen and Skybolts with two pistons per caliper?

Thanks guys for you thoughts and apreciate you posting the rudder pedal set up cwilliamrose.

Texmex.
