Page 5, section 6, stab connector

The two 3/8 x .065 tubes are welded to the frame. The plans call for the length to be 1 3/4" long which doesn't make any sense when looking at drawing in section 6. This image shows the 1 3/4" measurement and there is tubing extending further in both directions... maybe a total of 3" in length.

I looked under Hal's "Changes and clarifications" but didn't see any mention of it.

What length have others made the front connections?
