Hello Everyone,
After a year and four months, I'm finished with the wings and ready to move onto the fuselage. Of course the wings are never finished, but we're at a good transition point.
I think I'm going to start next on the horizontal and vertical stabilizers.
On the Skybolt plans, sheet 4, the ribs are shown fabricated out of 0.035" 1025 steel. To save a little weight and use material available from Spruce, can these be made from 0.032" 4130 or even 0.025" 4130?
I'm putting in an order in the next day or two.
