I have a 76 Skybolt with about 1000hrs. Been maintained for the last 15+ yrs by a shop, about 1000hrs on it. I am trying to set the rigging properly, and have observed that the top wing has 1.5 degrees of ANHEDRAL, were as the lower wing has 2 degrees of Dihedral. The airplane has flown this way for many years! It seems to fly ok, and I plan to fix it after this season.
Can anyone offer any explanation from this crazy set up? It looks like the top wing has to go up about 5CM to make level! I haven't got into it too deep yet, but wonder about the need for new I-struts, or spacers and a fairing....

What airspeed do the open cockpit, fixed pitched 180hp model see at around 2400rpm?

Thanks,
larry
