    Why become a Subscribing Member?

    • In addition to our active community, our content boasts exhaustive technical information which is often sought after for projects and maintenance. This information has accumulated over the 12+ years the forum has been in existence.
    • We are also a great resource for non biplane users, since many GA aircraft are built the same way (fabric and tube construction).
    • Annual membership also comes with two BiplaneForum.com decals.

I have to say, the insurance industry as a whole is putting itself at a disadvantage by intentionally pricing out qualified folks like DC Wolfe who are making an effort to provide dual instruction in these perfectly safe yet quirky sport biplanes.  This will lead to more pilots trying to transition to bipes on their own without getting any sort of dual or ride-along checkout with consequent increased claims for avoidable airplane damage such as busting the plane up in a ground loop.  Ignorance is never cheap.
